1. Do I need to create an account to shop on StoryRoom?

Ans: You need not to create an account separately. Once you move to checkout page and enter your details, an account is created automatically with login details as you entered.

2. Do I get free delivery?

Ans: Free delivery is available only to certain locations or only for minimum amount orders.

3. What if delivery is not available to my city/town?

Ans: Contact our customer care team at care@storyroom.online for confirmation.

4. How to I change my account details and password?

Ans: Go to My Account and click on “edit your password and account details

5. How can I check my orders?

Ans: Your order details are available on ‘My Account’ page.

6. How do I track my order?

Ans: You can track your order by using the tracking number provided to you once the order is shipped.

7. How do I know my order has been confirmed or shipped?

Ans: You will receive an email with unique Order Id once your order is confirmed by us. Similarly, you will receive an email with Tracking Number once the book is shipped.

8. What payment options are available to pay for online purchase?

Ans: For now, we are accepting payments only via Cash on Delivery (COD).

9. What is Cash on Delivery?

Ans: If you choose Cash on Delivery option, you need to pay in cash to the courier person once the book is received to you. The option is recommended when you are not comfortable or able making online payment for your purchase.

10. Is it safe to use my credit/debit card? Do you save card details?

Ans: Yes, it is completely safe to use your credit/debit card to make payment. And no, we never save your card details.

11. When and how can I cancel an order?

Ans: An order can be cancelled as long as it is not shipped. You can cancel an order from your account page using ‘Cancel Request’ button. You will receive an email within 24 hours to tell whether your cancellation request is approved or not.

12. What is the estimated delivery time?

Ans: Estimated delivery time depends on customer location.

13. What are the delivery charges?

Ans: Delivery charges depend on customer location and number of books.

14. How do I return or replace a book?

Ans: If the received book is Damaged/Defective or Not as Described, you can easily return the item or request a replacement within 5 days of delivery. To do so, go to your account page >> View >> Return. Choose the book you want to return and click the button. Our team will analyze your request and will send you a confirmation email within 24 hours.

However, books once delivered cannot be returned in following conditions

  • Book is already used by customer.
  • Book is torn or tempered with after delivery.
  • After 5 days of delivery.
  • Items are missing partly or fully from the package.

15. When do I get refunds for returned books?

Ans: Refunds are processed as soon as the book is received back by us. It may take one week or more depending on refund process.

16. Do I get any warranty with the book?

Ans: No.

17. Is there any referral benefit or program on shoeshopper?

Ans: Not as present.
